Anna Maria Chávez is the Chief Executive Officer of the Girl Scouts of the USA (2011–present) and the basic Latina to head the connection.
History

Anna Maria Chavez was considered in 1968 in the little farm town of Eloy, Arizona and is of Mexican-American legacy. She joined the Girl Scouts as a juvenile. Her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona in the midst of her optional school years. She went to Yale University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in American History. She went to James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, got the Juris Doctorate degree, and was admitted to the bar of the Arizona Supreme Court, the bar of the U.S. Zone Court for the District of Arizona and, as time goes on, the bar of the U.S. Unique Court. Anna at this moment lives in New Jersey. She is hitched to Robert, a budgetary industry force, and they have a young, Michael.

Work 

In the wake of completing her law degree, she served as great 'ol formed bearing to the Federal Highway Administration in Washington D.C. In 2009, the Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas named Chavez as CEO and in 2011 she was assigned CEO of Girls Scouts of the USA.

Accomplishments 

In 2012, Chavez got the Chairman's Award from the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Women of Excellence Award from the Women of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting.
